• Four killed in Dera Bugti clash

      QUETTA: At least four armed men have been killed in an exchange of fire with personnel of the law enforcement agencies in Dera Bugti district on Wednesday.Official sources told APP that a convoy of the Frontier Corps Balochistan was passing through the Sangsila area of Dera Bugti district when a group of armed men attacked and opened fire at it.

      “The personnel of FC took positions and retaliated the firing”, official sources said adding that as a result of shootout, four attackers were killed. They added that some other accomplices of the armed men were also injured.

      The FC personnel took the bodies of the assailants and their wounded accomplices into their custody. They also arrested six armed men and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from their possession. No casualty or other loss was reported of FC personnel. The FC men immediately cordoned off the entire area and started search operation. Further probe is underway.
