Pir Raza’s widow seeks PML-N ticket

TOBA TEK SINGH: PML-N MPA Pir Ali Raza’s widow Saima Ali Raza Monday urged the party leadership to award her ticket for the PP-89 by-polls scheduled on January 6.
Addressing a press conference at Pirmahal, she said her husband was a loyal worker of the party who won the same seat in all elections. She said she deserved the party ticket and if she was ignored, she will contest the election as an independent candidate.
MOTORCYCLIST KILLED: A 50-year-old Talib Hussain of Chak 326/GB was killed in a road accident on Toba-Shorkot road on Monday. Talib and his wife Naziran Bibi were moving on the motorcyclist, when motorcyclist Mulazim Hussain hit them, leaving Talib dead on the spot. Naziran Bibi and Mulazim sustained injuries. Meanwhile, Haq Nawaz, Allah Bakhsh and Irshad Bibi of Jhang were injured in a head-on collision between a rickshaw and a car on Toba-Jhang road near Chak 389/JB. The injured were rushed to DHQ Hospital.
