The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has halted all transfers, postings and promotions till the new mayor of the metropolis assumes his office, read a statement issued on Monday.
After the recently conducted third and final phase of the local government elections, the new mayor of the city is expected to take charge within a month.
