Blasphemer held after 5 years From Our Correspondent TOBA TEK SINGH: Kamalia City police on Sunday arrested an alleged blasphemer from Gujranwala who was wanted in a blasphemy case for the last five years. Police had registered a case under Sections 295-A and 295-C in 2009 against accused Asif Raza Alvi for allegedly delivering blasphemous speech in a religious gathering. Later, he was declared a proclaimed offender. HAEMATOLOGY ANALYSIS MACHINE: A new haematology analysis machine started functioning at DHQ Hospital on Sunday. Medical Superintendent Dr Muhammad Hussain told that Rs 1.1 million worth machine was imported from Japan. He added that the machine had a capacity of testing 15 types of blood tests in 50 minutes while it was also capable to detect dengue virus.
