‘Kashmir issue being sidelined’

PUNJAB University Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that Kashmir issue was being isolated under an international conspiracy and awareness must be created among the youth regarding the Kashmir issue.
The VC was addressing the participants of the rally held at New Campus to express solidarity with Kashmiris, on Tuesday.
PU Academic Staff Association President Dr Ehsan Sharif, Dr Mansoor Sarwar, Chaudhry Akram, faculty members and a large number of students also participated in the rally. He said that Pakistan must play its role to foil the conspiracy of the international powers. He said that Kashmiri people were being killed and ruthlessly tortured by the Indian forces and every Pakistani must express solidarity with Kashmiris. Meanwhile, PU Pakistan Study Centre organised a round table talk on Kashmir issue in which Dean Faculty of Arts Dr Massarat Abid delivered a special lecture. Department of History also organised a seminar on Kashmir issue.
