Mehfil-e-Milad at Nusrat Hostel

Islamabad: To highlight the message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights organised a ‘Mehfil-e-Milad’ at the Nusrat Hostel for working women.
The event was attended by the hostel residents, administration members and ministry officials in addition to women from different organizations. Na’at Khawn recited ‘Na’ats’ in their soul stirring and heart touching voices filling the environment with serenity and peace. The participants also recited some excerpts from ‘Sirat-un-Nabi’ books describing the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The participants said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi should be a reminder of how our prophet dealt with those around him, whether Muslims or non-Muslims, his manners and how he changed the world, how he inspired humanity in the various fields such as education, compassion, mercy, human and women’s rights, etc.
They said that this occasion is a great opportunity to tell the each other about the Prophet’s life which was the perfect example of a good human being. The event was also participated by senior joint secretary Naila Querashi, DG Humaira Munir and other ministry officials.
