Steps being taken to facilitate farmers

TOBA TEK SINGH: PML-N MNA Junaid Anwaar has said that the PML-N government is taking steps to provide facilities to farmers.
While addressing a gathering at Chak 330/JB Seowal on Monday, he claimed that introduction of flat rates on use of electricity for tube-wells were a part of such steps. He added that PM Nawaz Sharif was taking measures for progress in agriculture sector.
CALL TO WITHDRAW FIR: Residents of Chak 287/JB have demanded the DPO withdraw a case against a prayer leader of the area. Talking to newsmen, the people claimed that Sadr police registered a fake case against the prayer leader of a mosque for allegedly violating ban on the use of loudspeaker.
THEFT: A theft incident was reported at Chak 290/JB on Sunday night. Thieves entered the shop of Younis and took away valuables. Police have registered a case.
MOOT ON 9TH: A meeting will be held which will be chaired by DCO Dr Farah Masood on Oct 9.
The DCO will discuss various issues with Labour Department and Social Security Department officials regarding problems being faced by kiln workers.
