Man stabs son to death over trifle

CHAKWAL: A man stabbed his son to death over a domestic dispute at Wahola village on Friday.
Muhammad Ijaz Feroze attacked his son Ihsan Ijaz after a dispute, injuring him critically. The victim died on way to DHQ Hospital. Choa Saidan Shah police have registered a case against the accused who is still at large.
Rallies mark Al-Quds Day across Punjab

CHAKWAL: The Imamia Students Organization on Friday took out a rally to mark Al-Quds day.
Several Shia organisations participated in the rally which started from Imambargah Sarpak. The participants carrying banners and placards condemned the shelling of the shrines of Hazrat Zainab (RA) and other religious personalities. Allama Shabbir Bukhari led the rally, which converted into a big public meeting at Tehsil Chowk. Speaking on the occasion, the leaders strongly condemned the attack on holy places as well as target killing of the Shia community in the country. They said that it would be difficult to maintain law and order if target killing of the Shia community did not stop.
