PUNJAB Caretaker Chief Minister, Najam Sethi has taken serious notice of the incident of theft of “Muay Mubarak” of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from Islamic Museum Shadbagh. He has directed the police authorities to take every possible step for the recovery of the “Muay Mubarak”.
felicitates Christians : Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi has congratulated Christian community on the occasion of Easter and said that Christian community has played a significant role in progress of the country, along with other minorities.
In his felicitation message to Christian Community on the occasion of Easter, the caretaker chief minister said the services of Christian community in the field of education, health and other social sectors are highly laudable. He said respecting each others’ religions is our collective responsibility. He assured Christian community that complete protection would be provided to their rights in Punjab, while protection of their life and property would be ensured.
He said, as Pakistanis, the country belongs to all of us and we have to make it a bastion of peace, tranquillity, affection and brotherhood. He said Pakistan can achieve a dignified position in the comity of nations by according legitimate rights to persons belonging to all religions.
Najam Sethi appealed to Christian community to offer special prayers on the occasion of Easter for progress and prosperity of the country.
Condolence: Punjab Caretaker Chief Minister Najam Sethi has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of Abdul Haq, father of Ibrahim Lucky, Editor Reporting of Urdu Daily.
In his condolence message, the caretaker chief minister prayed that Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
