LAHORE
Young Leaders’ Club, the first international forum run by children for children in Pakistan, was launched on Sunday. Children took part in art activities and later Amal Farooq Malik, the 9-year-old founder, showed the website and told them about the ‘Children’s Voice’ blog on the website where children’s articles, stories and art work about Pakistan and its social issues will be posted for the world to see. The project aims to raise funds for sick children who suffer from blood disorders such as thalassemia and for those who require bone marrow transplant, for the education of poor and underprivileged children. Ammara Farooq Malik said they had the vision that the voice of sick or poor underprivileged children in Pakistan was spread out to the world.
