Islamabad A four-day Inter-School Football Tournament organised by the Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) has concluded. Ten schools of Islamabad participated in the event. PPP leader Chaudhry Amjad Ayub was the chief guest. The final of girls was between GSIS and LGS, which was won by GSIS. The boys final was between GSIS and The City School, in which GSIS won. Taimoor Hayat was declared the best player of the tournament amongst boys, and Abiha Haider amongst girls. The best goal of the tournament award was given to Talha Rafay Saleem and amongst girls to Zoha Akhtar. The highest number of goals was scored by Rauf Khan of The City School in boys matches. The best goalkeeper was Ahmad Faraz of GSIS amongst boys. An aerobics display by the students and funfair, which was arranged for the whole family to enjoy, were also held on the occasion. There were attractions for all age groups. The Pirate Ship and the Ferris Wheel attracted children of all ages. The money generated by the funfair was donated to flood victims. The students of GSIS have also collected a substantial amount of money and dry ration for their poor brethren.
