Two brothers hit to death

TWO young brothers were crushed to death by a speeding truck in the Nishtar Colony police limits on Thursday.
Police have registered a case against the driver but failed to arrest him. The bodies were also handed over to the family. The brothers were identified as Hafiz Mazhar and Hafiz Zubair, residents of Kot Radha Kishan. A police official said that Hafiz Mazhar studied in Zahur-ul-Islam madrassa in Nishtar Colony.
His brother Zubair picked him up from the Madrassa on a bike when a speeding truck hit them from the behind on Kamahan Road. As a result, they died instantly while the driver fled after leaving the truck. Locals gathered on the spot, set the truck ablaze and staged a protest demonstration.
