KU issues evening programme merit list

The University of Karachi (KU) on Tuesday issued the merit list of candidates admitted to various disciplines in BS, Honours, MBA and MCS in the Evening Programme of the public-run university for the academic session 2012-13.
The university also posted the merit list on the varsity’s website on Monday night to facilitate the students. The same list is also pasted on the wall at the Silver Jubilee Gate, KU.
At least 2,500 students had been given admission to 35 departments of the KU in its Evening Programme while around the same number of students were admitted to the university’s 54 departments in its Morning Programme, Director, Admission Committee of the KU, Prof Dr Khalid Iraqi said.
The successful students are advised to submit their admission fees from January 11 to 16 to complete the admission process, he said.
The Orientation Session for the students of the Evening Programme is scheduled on January 16 whereas the students enrolled in the Morning Programme would attend the same on January 14, Dr Iraqi added.
The university has also issued the upgraded merit list of the candidates of Pharm-D (Evening Programme), he said.
