Girl dies, 2 hurt in accident

GUJRANWALA: A seven-year-old girl was killed while two others injured in a road accident at Melhi Chowk on Tuesday. Rashida Bibi, her daughter Fajr and Usman were on their way by a bike when a speeding tractor-trolley hit them. As a result, Fajr died on the spot while her mother Rashida and Rashida’s brother Usman seriously injured.
ATTEMPTS SUICIDE: A youth attempted suicide at Garjakh on Tuesday. Rehman attempted suicide by taking poisonous pills. He was shifted to DHQ Hospital in critical condition where he was under treatment. The motive behind the incident is said to be domestic problems. Meanwhile, Minahil, 12, was injured after falling from rooftop of his house at Saleem Colony.

GUJRANWALA: State Bank of Pakistan Law Department Senior Joint Director Muhammad Mahmood Zafar died at Jalil Town. He was buried at Chawinda graveyard. He was the younger brother of advocate Muhammad Nazim Khan. His Qul was held here on Tuesday.
