Lower courts staff rally for pay raise

BUREWALA: Staff of lower courts took out a rally to press their demands here on Tuesday.
The employees boycotted the court proceedings and took out a rally from Multan Road. The protesters led by Syed Anwaar Hussian Shah, Muhammad Afzal Butt and Muhammad Javed said that employees of lower courts were being ignored while salaries of Supreme Court and High courts employees had been raised up to 50 per cent. They have demanded the Supreme Court chief justice and the Lahore High Court chief justice increase salaries of the employees of lower courts.
