Political activists and other citizens were being targeted in Karachi under a planned conspiracy to sabotage peace. This was stated in a meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Karachi division which was held at People’s Secretariat on Thursday under the chair of Syed Najmi Alam.
The meeting expressed serious concern over the targeted killings of over 20 people, including four PPP workers over the last few days. The participants believed that the killings were aimed at disrupting peace, weakening the economy and terrorising the citizens. The meeting unanimously passed a resolution, urging the government to arrest the killers of PPP activist, Sajjad Khan and others.
