Xmas celebrated

BAHAWALPUR: Like other parts of the country, the Christians observed the Christmas with religious zeal, fervour and enthusiasm in the district on Saturday.
The Christians decorated and illuminated their all churches and houses to mark the special day. The day was dawn with special prayers for unity, brotherhood and progress of the country in all churches. Various food items were distributed among the participants of the ceremonies organised in connection with the Christmas. On the other hand, the district police was put on high alert and security around all the churches had been tightened to avoid any untoward incident in the district.
