Bodies of two kidnapped truck drivers found

GHALLANAI: Bodies of two out of four truck drivers and cleaners kidnapped by militants were found in the remote Lakhkar Killay in Baizai subdivision of Mohmand Agency on Tuesday, tribal sources said.
On Monday, militants had kidnapped four drivers and cleaners after torch-
ing their three trucks loaded with different goods at Lakhkar Killay in Baizai subdivision. The three trucks, loaded with milk powder, mobile oil and other goods worth millions of rupees, were on way to Ghallanai from Afghanistan when militants attacked them with automatic weapons.
The militants, the sources added, set the vehicles and goods ablaze after firing at the trucks and kidnapped four drivers and helpers while two others managed to flee. The militants later killed two of the kidnapped persons and dumped their bodies near the place they had torched the vehicles. The names of the slain truckers, who were stated to be Afghan nationals, could not be ascertained.
