Japan keen to purchase garlic, ginger

LAHORE: Punjab has complete infrastructure to attend the needs of foreign investment and Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) provides technical support and assistance to foreign investors to initiate new projects in the province, a top official of PBIT said on Wednesday.
Talking to a nine-member delegation of Japanese agriculturists, who visited PBIT office, PBIT Chief Executive Officer Saadat Muzaffar said that PBIT is playing a proactive role in liaising with foreign investment companies and apprising them with key information about investment opportunities in the province.
He also highlighted various sectors, mutually beneficial to the two countries, including agriculture and livestock trade.
In order to boost investment and trade in the province, PBIT provides one-window facility to the local, as well as foreign investors, he said.
