India sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan: Afgan

CHAKWAL: All Pakistan Muslim League senior vice-president and former federal minister Dr Sher Afgan Khan Niazi has claimed that the meeting between Muttahdia Muslim League convenor Zafarullah Khan Jamali and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Quaid Nawaz Sharif has remained fruitless as both these leagues have their own agendas.
He was talking to newsmen after attending a conference at Sagar Sharif village on Sunday. He further claimed that the PML-N would not join the Muttahida Muslim League as Nawaz Sharif wanted to become the prime minister at any cost in 2011. Dr Sher Afgan was of the view that Afghanistan and India were sponsoring terrorism in the country and the government must take bold steps to eliminate terrorism.
He praised the efforts of armed forces for breaking terror network. He said that there was a vacuum of political leadership in the country and the present federal and provincial governments had failed to deliver. He said that prices of different commodities had registered an increase up to 400 per cent as compared to prices during the rule of Pervez Musharraf. Earlier, the conference was presided over by Pir Mehmoodul Hassab Khaki while Allama Haider Ali, Mubarik Ali Hamdani, Haider Ali Hamdani, Syed Naqsood Ali Hamdani, Malik Slaeem Iqbal and others attended it.
