Afghan peace talks

Prime Minister Gilani recently stated that Pakistan should have a role in the Afghan peace talks. Let’s admit the bitter truth that in order to gain the so-called strategic depth we have played a very negative role in Afghanistan. As a result, the Afghans now consider us as troublemakers rather than peacemakers. We should let the Afghans decide what is best for them.
