Picture of Dorian Gray

Brig A R Siddiqi's analogy of the present-day Pakistan with Dorian Gray, the protagonist of the famous novel The Picture of Dorian Gray is wonderful (Picture of Dorian Gray, Oct 11). Let me further elaborate that before killing himself, Dorian Gray first kills the creator of his beautiful portrait. It's quite similar to what we did to the maker of our nation and his philosophy. It seems as if we are writing our epitaph with our own hands.
