Teenage girl commits suicide

A teenaged girl committed suicide at her residence in the Saeedabad police area. Faiza, 17, daughter of Arshad, after an exchange hot words with her parents, locked herself in a room and then put her father’s handgun to her temple shot herself dead.
Her parents, after hearing the gunshots, rushed to the spot and after breaking open the door they saw her in pool of blood. They immediately took her to the Civil Hospital in a critical condition. However, she breathed her last on the way to the hospital.
According to the police, her parents wanted to marry her off to a relative but she had fallen in love with another man and wanted to marry him., Her parents refusal disheartened her and she decided to end her life.
