JAMRUD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is likely to visit Jamrud in Khyber Agency today.
The security forces personnel have taken control of high-rise buildings besides patrolling different roads in the Jamruf tehsil area in preparation for the visit. Strict security measures are being taken for the visit.
Jamrud is located at the mouth of the famed Khyber Pass, which links Pakistan with Afghanistan.
According to sources, the prime minister would inaugurate several development projects. He may also express his views about the proposed reforms in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata).
It may be mentioned here that Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi is the fourth prime minister of Pakistan who is visiting Khyber Agency.
