Four killed in different incidents

Four people including a puncher shop owner was shot dead in separate incidents reported in the city on Monday.
Mohammed Imran was shot dead in the Sharea Noor Jehan police limits. Police sources said that, the incident happened near the 2K bus stop, Sakhi Hassan Chowrangi. During investigation it was found that he was running a puncher shop at the above mention place and on Monday morning when he was present at his shop, armed men riding on a motorcycle came and opened indiscriminate fire on him leaving him injured then fled.
He was then rushed towards the hospital where he was pronounced dead; the deceased received two bullet wounds on his body and was a resident of Nusrat Bhutto Colony. He was married, and left behind a widow and four daughters. Furthermore, he originated from Rahim Yar Khan. It was also found that the deceased had no political or religious affiliation.
In a separate case, Ziaur Rehman’s tortured and bullet wound body was found from the Ibrahim Hyderi police limits. Police said that the deceased body was found lying inside bushes situated in Ali Akber Shah Goth. According to details on Monday morning information was received that a man’s tied up body was lying at the above mentioned place. The police then recovered the body and shifted it to the hospital.
During further investigation it was found that unidentified criminals had kidnapped Rehman on Sunday morning, who after torturing him shot and killed him then threw his body in the area. Rehman was a fisherman by profession and a resident of the same area. A case was reported at the police station.
In another incident, Mohammed Aslam was shot dead in the Al Falah police limits. Police said that the incident happened at the Baba Gharib Shah Mazar, Malir, Al-Falah on Monday morning. They added that, Aslam was a worker of the shrine and on Monday morning he was present at the gate of the shrine when armed men riding on a motorcycle opened fire and killed Aslam then fled. Moreover, the deceased was a permanent resident of Multan and had come to Karachi three months before and started to work at the shrine. He resided in the same area while in Karachi. However, the motive behind the murder is not known and a case has been registered.
Meanwhile, forty-five-year-old Riaz was shot dead in the Sohrab Goth police limits. Police said that, the incident happened on Monday afternoon, in the Ayub Goth area.
According to details, Riaz was shot dead by his nephew Abbas. They added that, Riaz had a dispute with Abbas on a marriage proposal, and in this regard, on Monday afternoon, they entered into an argument upon which Abbas took out his pistol and shot and killed Riaz then fled.
