Film ‘Virsa’ to be released on May 7
KARACHI: Pakistan and India co-production first international Punjabi film ‘Virsa’ will be released by Geo Films through Aman Ki Aasha campaign on May 7 throughout Pakistan.
The film is produced and released by Dr Amanullah Khan, Jawad Ahmed from Pakistan and Vikram Khakhar from India. Film ‘Virsa’ in an attempt for the revival of cinema with the idea that revival of cinema can happen through collaborative effort in to meaningful cinema. The music of the film is outstanding with tracks being sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Jawad Ahmed, Richa Sharma, Amada Khan, Farah, Fawad Ahmed, Kirshna and Sahir Ali Bagga. The music is proudly presented by Fire Records. ‘Virsa’ also marks the launch of Aarya Babbar in to Punjabi films while from Pakistan Mehreen Raheel jumps in to the films first time. ‘Virsa’ will be released in cinemas like Prince, Universe Cineplex Karachi, Bambino Hyderabad, DHA, Cine Star, Cine Gold Lahore, Taj Mahal Faisalabad, Rex Multan, Prince and Gulistan Gujranwala, Shaheen Sargodha, and Faisal cinema Gujrat.
