Apex court wants report on OGDCL training institute

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) on Thursday directed the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) to submit before the court details of the expenditures incurred on establishment of the Oil and Gas Training Institute and on the training of each trainee of the institute.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, comprising Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Chaudhry Ijaz Ahmad and Justice Jawwad S Khwaja, gave this direction while it was hearing a case regarding denial of employment to the trained graduates of the Oil and Gas Training Institute, an institute of the OGDCL.
