The Lahore commissioner, Khusro Pervez Khan, has directed the Lahore DCO to take strict action against the Ravi Town TOM on construction of new buildings, demolishing the old ones, in the walled-city as the government had imposed a ban on the demolition and construction of buildings in the walled-city.
According to a press statement issued on Thursday, the commissioner asked DCO Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta to inform him about the construction and demolition of buildings in the walled-city. The commissioner directed the WASA official to make new tube-wells functional before April 2. He also directed the officials to complete the sewerage work from Shalimar Town to Badamibagh within the first week of April.
He took the notice on the delay of u-gradation of the Government Khawaja Saeed and Nawaz Sharif Hospitals. He directed the authorities to provide him with the details of plantation of one hundred thousand plants. He also directed the authorities to provide him with the details of encroachments, street lights and pure milk and meat. He further asked the CDGL officials to end their on going fumigation drive against the dengue virus with in one week.
While the CDGL food department raided on butcher shops in the area of Kotha Pind, Faisal Town and found three butchers guilty.
The Faisal Town Police got the FIR registered against the 3 accused named Faisal, Ali Baig and Mehboob Ali.
