12th death anniversary of Ali Khan observed

PESHAWAR: The Fazlehaq College Mardan (FCM) Thursday observed the 12th death anniversary of the eminent educationist and founding principal of the institute, the late Abdul Ali Khan.
A ceremony was held on the college campus where students, staff and the guests, including Dr Sher Zaman Taizai, Professor Jehanzeb Niaz and the elder son of Abdul Ali Khan, Zulfiqar Khan, paid glowing tributes to Ali Khan for his services in educating children of the nation.
Dr Sher Zaman Taizai in his address shed light on the multi-dimensional personality of the renowned educationist. He said Ali Khan had rendering his services in the field of education since 1950 till his demise in 1997.
It may be added here that Abdul Ali Khan served as chairman of History and Political Science departments, University of Peshawar, principal Government College Mianwali and Sargodha, principal Atchison College Lahore and Vice-chancellor University of Peshawar and the Gomal University.Prof Jehanzeb Niaz, a known scholar, recited his poem he composed to remember the late educationist and gifted his poetry books to the college library.
