ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry has urged the international community to play its role in ending the Indo-Pak tension, and expressed concern over the malicious designs of India.
He said this while talking to ambassadors of various countries here on Sunday. Barrister Sultan said the Indo-Pak standoff would cast doubts on peace and stability of the rest of the world if the international community failed to ease out the tension.
He, however, said until and unless the core issue of Kashmir was resolved, the situation would not improve. The diplomats assured Barrister Sultan to convey this message to their respective countries, urging their governments to play a role in the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
