KP CM all praise for gallantry of Frontier Constabulary

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said on Tuesday the Frontier Constabulary (FC) had set an example of gallantry in combating terrorism and government and people were proud of these brave defenders.

He said this while speaking at a special ceremony in the Training Centre of the Frontier Constabulary at Hayatabad, said a handout. Smart troop of Quick Response Force of the FC presented guard of honours to the chief minister on the occasion. The soldiers demonstrated the latest defence techniques to combat terrorist acts and safeguard civilian population.

The chief minister said the FC force had always displayed, bravery and integrity by rendering unprecedented sacrifices. He added that the FC had a brilliant record of defending geographical frontiers, maintenance of law and order and combating terrorism.

Pervez Khattak announces provision of internal security allowance to personnel. He ordered allocation of funds for that in the next budget. Earlier, FC Commandant Liaqat Ali Khan highlighted the role played by the force in maintaining law and order.
