The body of aFederal Investigation Agency (FIA) officer was foundon Sundaynightin his abandoned car onLyari Expressway,in the Jamshed Quarters police remit.
As per the police, Police Constable (PC) Mohammed Ali was founddead inside his car and thedeceased, who was deployed at FIA’s arrival counter at the Jinnah International Airport, hadsustained a bullet in his head.
The body was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for an autopsyand otherlegal formalities.
Moreover, investigation teams of the police and the FIA reachedthe spot to conduct a forensic analysis of the vehicle,which has been seizedfor further investigations, and alsocontacted the deceased family to get details of his movement.
According to the Jamshed Quarters police, the motive of the murder wasyet to be ascertained and they were still doubtful overwhether he waspossiblykilled somewhere else and his body dumped in their jurisdiction. A case has been registered and a probe is under way.
