SUKKUR: The birth anniversary of founder of Jeay Sindh Tehreek G.M. Syed was celebrated in Sann, the hometown of the nationalist leader G M Syed.
Caravans of Jeay Sindh activists reached Sann to mark the 112th anniversary of GM Syed.The main function was held at Daryah Waro, where Syed Jallal Mahmood Shah along with ex-speaker National Assembly Illahi Bakhash Soomro, STPP chief Dr Qadir Mangsi, Ibrar Kazi and others cut an anniversary cake.
Addressing the ceremony, Jalal Mahmood Shah and others said that GM Syed did not surrender his principles and he fought for the rights of Sindh.They said that the anniversary actually refreshed the memories of GM Syed who motivated people of Sindh to defend the rights of province.They alleged the PPP-led Sindh government had compromised on the Sindh cause only to continue its rule.
