The female station house officer (SHO) of the Tipu Sultan Police Station was suspended on Friday over rising incidents of house robberies. Inspector Sharafat Khan was directed to report to the police headquarters, East. Burglary incidents had been on the rise during her posting as Tipu Sultan SHO. On Thursday, robbers looted jewellery, cash and other valuables worth over Rs15 million from a house in the area.
