Sacrificial meat distributed

Islamabad : World Muslim League (RAI) distributed sacrificial meat to the poor people in Pakistan. The distribution ceremony was held at Dar-e-Ali-Bin-Abi Talib, Islamabad, says a press release.

Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Malki, Dr Jamal Nasir Chairman Qamar Jahan Foundation,and Director General of World Muslim League Saad Masud Al-Harsi,Javed Butt were present on the occasion. The project is part of the humanitarian aid of the Kingdom to the people of Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Malki said while speaking on the occasion. He also commended the services of the World Muslim League to alleviate the sufferings of the poor people in Pakistan and elsewhere.

Dr. Jamal Nasir, Chairman Qamar Jahan Foundation, paid special tributes to Khadim Al Haramain Al Sharifain Prince Muhammad Bin Suleman, Saudi Government and WML for their services to people of Pakistan. He said on this occasion that Saudi government and welfare organizations like IIRO are carrying projects which are helpful in alleviating poverty and miseries of our people. These services are being highly appreciated by the people of Pakistan.

“The present meat distribution will benefit thousands poor families of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, including Mansehra, Haripur, Nowshehra, Peshawar, Sawabi, Jehlum, Bagh and Muzaffarabad. 40 cows sacrificed for the people of Rawalpndi Islamabad, said Saad Masud Al-Harsi, DG World Muslim League.

He added that the relief activities, are underway under the supervision of Khadim Al Haramain Al Sharifain Prince Muhammad Bin and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Nawaf Bin Saeed Al-Malki, to help Pakistani brothers and sisters. He said that Pakistan and Saudia Abrabia are tied in strong brotherly relations, adding that in all difficult times Saudi organisations will extend help to their Pakistani brothers.

Javed Butt, Members of WML and Large number of media representative were also present during the distribution ceremony.
