PESHAWAR: The police have arrested the head of the family after its seven members, mostly children, were killed at home on Phandu Road a few days back.
A source said the cops have arrested Ibrahim, the head of the family. Ibrahim and his son were the only ones who survived the firing incident. It was alleged that the suspect had killed his wife, his cousin and children of the two families.
Seven members of a family were found dead inside their house the other day. Those killed in the incident included wife of Ibrahim, her sons Saleem (13), Salman (10) and Halal (6) as well as Habibullah, his wife and his daughter Sumayya. Three special teams headed by senior officers have been tasked with arresting the culprits.
