LAHORE: The team of Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Rahimyar Khan arrested two suspected terrorists and recovered explosive material from their possession on Tuesday. The spokesman said the CTD received credible source information that two terrorists of proscribed organisation TTP were present at Chowk Bahadarpur Bypass with suspicious bags in their hands. On this information CTD team raided the place and arrested two terrorists, namely Ghulam Rehman Zarar s/o Khan Gull r/o Numaish Chorangi Tehsil & District Karachi and Shahid s/o Zahir Shah r/o Siddiquepura, Badami Bagh, Lahore. Recoveries from them include explosive material, safety fuses and detonators. Investigation has been launched after lodging FIR # 16/21 in PS CTD Multan. Further disclosures are expected regarding TTP network in the area, said the spokesman of CTD Punjab.
