The Consul General of QatarSaad BinAbdulla Al-Mahmoud Al-Shareef called on Sindh Governor Dr IshratulEbad Khan at the latter's official residenceon Tuesday andmatters of bilateral interest on trade and commerce were discussed in their meeting.
The Sindh governor, in reference to the recently signed $16 billion LNG deal, appreciated the Qatari investment in the energy sector projects in Pakistan, saying that the cordial relations between the two countries should be reinvigorated to an optimum level.
Speaking on the occasion, the consul general expressed his hope that friendly ties between the two countries would grow further with the passage of time and said that a number of Qatariswere interested in investing in Pakistan.
