Islamabad: The National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) has invited nominations for the 5th Corporate Social Responsibility Awards (CSR 2016) to industries and other business organisations that are following CSR-friendly guidelines and performance for promoting the cause of society.
This was announced by president of NFEH Naeem Qureshi in a meeting of the NFEH advisory committee here Monday. “These awards were instituted four years ago and have elicited a very enthusiastic response. They have become the benchmark for the standards that need to be followed. The CSR awards are designed to recognise and promote organisations that make an outstanding contribution towards CSR,” he stated. The 8th International Corporate Social Responsibility Summit 2016 and a colourful award ceremony will be held on January 14 at Serena. Federal minister for commerce Khrurram Dastagir, provincial ministers, and ambassadors, among others, will attend the ceremony.
Interested organizations may submit their nomination by November 30, 2015. Further information can be accessed on www.nfeh.org.pk.
