KARACHI: The Founding President of Make-A-Wish Pakistan Ishtiaq Baig has left for London alongwith Make-A-Wish Child Anwarullah Khan to fulfil his most cherished wish, says a press release on Thursday.
Anwarullah, 17, suffering from lung cancer, had conveyed recently to Make-a-Wish Foundation Pakistan about his most cherished wish of meeting Malala Yousufzai, the noble laureate. Malala was conveyed about this unique wish and she consented to fulfil the wish of the ailing child and spend some time with him. The wish granting is scheduled for November 22 in Birmingham.
During his visit to London, Ishtiaq Baig alongwith Anwarullah Khan will also call on Syed Ibne Abbass, High Commissioner of Pakistan to the UK. It may be mentioned that Make-a-Wish Foundation is the biggest wish granting organisation in the world in 60 countries and Pakistan is an affiliate member.
