Wife of suspended cop commits ‘suicide’
A young woman reportedly committed suicide inside her Muqeem Shah Colony residence after she had a quarrel with her husband, a police constable, informed officials of the Pakistan Bazar police station. Twenty-four-year-old Tooba, wife of Nadeem, allegedly shot herself with her husband’s pistol after they had a fight.
She was rushed to the Qatar Hospital where she died. Her body was later shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. According to police officers, the constable posted at police headquarter West was currently suspended from duty.
