To mark the World Post Day being celebrated today (October 9), a flag hoisting ceremony will be held at GPO, Rawalpindi, at 9:30 a.m. says a press release.
On the occasion, Mian Hamayun Pervaiz, president of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry will be the chief guest. Postmaster General (Northern Punjab) Ejaz Ahmed Minhas and Saqib Rafique, senior vice president of RCCI will also attend the event. In this regard philatelists, teachers and students of colleges and schools have also been invited to participate in the ceremony.
