LAHORE: A 45-year-old man was shot dead by two persons in front of his wife in Sabzazar Thursday. The deceased was identified as Zaheer Abbas. The victim and his wife were going on a rickshaw when two motorcycle riders intercepted the rickshaw, shot and injured Zaheer and rode away from the crime scene. The injured person was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced brought dead. Police suspected that he was murdered over an old enmity. Police shifted the body to the morgue for autopsy.
