National Highways & Motorway Police (NH&MP) conducted special patrolling on the eve of Eidul Azha. All officers from Constable to Inspector General participated in the special patrolling, says a press release.
Flowers and gift hampers were distributed with the aim to share the happiness of Eid and strengthen public and police relationship. The Inspector General issued instructions to all the patrolling staff to remain alert and respond within shortest possible time in case of any mishap or breakdown. Special instructions were also issued to take strict action against overloading of passengers and overcharging of fare by transports and make sure that the overcharged amount is returned there and then. The road users are requested to contacted Motorway Police personnel or NH&MP Helpline (130) for any complaint in this regard.
