LALAMUSA: Four car riders got a criminal released from Sadr police custody on Monday.
Amar Shah was arrested by Gujrat Civil Lines police some days ago and later he was shifted to Lalamusa Sadr police station as he was wanted in the murder case of Syed Mohsan Ali Shah of Kulewal Syedan (brother of ex-MNA Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah), who was gunned down some four years ago.
On Monday, ASI Munir with three constables was taking Amar to the court of Kharian magistrate to get his physical remand. When they were passing through Thikarian village on GT Road, four armed car riders intercepted the police van and got Amar released from police custody at gunpoint.
