Private schools protest today

Islamabad : Condemning an attempt on the life of All Pakistan Private Schools Federation President Kashif Mirza, the nationwide bodies of private educational institutions have announced protests.

Unidentified gunmen on Saturday attacked Kashif Mirza in Lahore on Saturday night and fled. He survived the attempt but got bullets in his arms and legs and admitted to a local hospital.

Central President All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association Malik Abrar Hussain while condemning this callous murder attempt on Kashif Mirza has spread the deep panic among the teachers, students of private educational institutions.

He warned the government if the attackers (culprits) were not arrested immediately, all private institutions in the countries to be shut down in protest. Meanwhile, Rawalpindi, Islamabad private school bodies on Monday (Dec16) will stage a protest in front of Rawalpindi Press Club.

The participants will stage a protest rally on Murree Road. Special prayers for Kashif Mirza’s recovery will also be offered.
