A division bench of Islamabad High Court, comprising Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamer Farooq, heard the bail plea.

Justice Athar Minallah asked as to why the NAB was not submitting its reply and noted that a notice had been served on the anti-graft body but no response had been submitted so far.

To this, the NAB prosecutor requested the court to grant more time to submit its reply, which the court allowed and adjourned the hearing till December 17.

In his petition, Miftah stated that the NAB had proved nothing against him since his arrest. He prayed the court to grant him a post-arrest bail, as he was fully cooperating with the NAB.
