City School holds high achievers ceremony

Islamabad :Featuring a colorful and vibrant ambience with display of the accomplishment and educational journey of the students, the City School, Capital Campus hosted a ceremony for its high achievers.

Around 500 people including proud parents, school management and teachers attended the event in which shield and certificates were distributed among children who have performed extraordinary in O and A Levels.

Top in North Pakistan CAIE Distinction shields were awarded to Sabeeh Ahmed Khan for A Level Sociology and Raamiz Khan Niazi for O Level Literature in English. The long line of high achievers received applause and encouragement from the guests and their hard work was appreciated through presentations, videos and pictures.

The chief guest for the event was Mehnaz Akbar Aziz, member of the National Assembly of Pakistan and President of the Parwaan Network gave an inspiring speech on importance of educating and guiding young generation in best possible manner. She concluded by saying she was glad that Pakistan's future is in safe hands.

Regional Director of The City School North Region, Badar Rehman in his closing address highlighted the achievements of the school and appreciated the contributions of the parents. He said that students have once again proven that hard work, discipline and academic high standards pay rich dividends, if they have the necessary drive and passion.

The Principal of CCI, Afia Shah in her welcome note congratulated the students and the parents as well as faculty members terming them the strongest competition.

The remarks were followed by the distribution of shields and certificates amongst the students and teachers. The parents, students and the school management were full of praise and applause for the vital contribution made by the teachers in once again maintaining the high standards. The faculty members appreciated the support of parents towards the institution which they believed was the constant guiding light towards determining that collaboration is the key to success.
