Islamabad: The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad, is among 10 international think tanks that are partnering 10 Chinese institutions to co-launch an action plan for building a network of Asian think tanks.
Titled ‘Action Plan on Building a Network of Exchanges and Cooperation between Asian Think Tanks’, the initiative hopes to strengthen exchanges and cooperation between think tanks in Asia, as well as other regions of the world, by enhancing the awareness of common challenges, conducting joint research endeavors, promoting people-to-people connections and facilitating information sharing. The agreement was signed by Executive President IPS Khalid Rahman on behalf of the Institute, who was visiting Shanghai, China, to attend the preceding forum.
