The Jamaat-e-Islami has decided to hold a sit-in today at Mazar-e-Quaid at 3:30pm over the issue of ban on Qingqi rickshaws.
A Jirga ceremony held at JI headquarters discussed the ways and means to resolve the issue.
The rickshaw owners association and other stakeholders would also join in the protest.
The sit-in would be the start of a campaign for demand to provide proper and adequate system of transportation for the metropolis.
